POLYETHYLENE - A durable plastic product

Potable Water Application
CANWEST Polyethylene tanks are manufactured, from FDA (USA) and Health Canada listed food grade resin. Therefore, any poly tank - above or under ground - may be used safely for the storage of potable (drinking) water.

Ultra-Violet Ray Protection
We use only high grade resins containing UV inhibitors to provide long term open air exposure without deterioration of tank wall, for above ground applications.

In-Ground Storage Tanks, Septic Tanks and Pump Chambers
Our In-ground tanks are designed for strength, with rib structure and
wall thickness to be buried up to 2 feet of earth cover.

The advantages of a polyethylene tank are, that they are: comparably inexpensive, durable, easy to install and easy to handle due to their relative light weight.

Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP)

Our FRP tanks are available for a variety of applications - potable water storage, septic tanks, sewage holding tanks, Lift Stations and pump-sump basins.

FRP Tanks are designed for underground burial with the standard tank
capable of 2 ft. of earth cover. By special order the tanks can be
buried up to 7 ft. of earth cover or more.

In cases of high water table conditions, Hold-down Straps must be used,
these may be ordered through CANWEST TANKS.
