Types of Treatment Plants Made by Canwest Tanks
Whitewater Treatment Plant
The Whitewater S.T.P. is characterized by being Aerobic with Acrtivated Sludge and Suspended Growth.
The Ecopod Wastewater Treatment System is distinguished from the Whitewater in that it uses Attached Growth Media which is an advanced treatment method, while employing Extended Aeration, it is combined with Attached Growth Media Technology.
Both these technologies can be incorporated into a Large Flow Treatment Plant where several components are installed into one horizontal FRP tank incorporating
- Trash Tank
- Flow Equalizer Chamber
- Sludge Compartment
- Reactor Unit
- Pump and/or UV Chamber
Treatment plants are categorized according to the effluent quality desired eg. Type 1 - Type 2 - Type 3, where effluent quality increases
- Type 1 being a conventional system-
- Type 2 having an effluent quality of 45/45 - Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD5) & Total Suspended Solids (TSS)
- Type 3 having an effluent quality of 10/10 - Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD5) & Total Suspended Solids (TSS)
Our Treatment Systems can be made to meet or exceed these requirements for
- Residential Homes
- Sub Divisions
- Commercial
- Work Camps
