A Lift Station is any tank with the function of housing a pump system designed to move liquid from one place to another, usually from lower elevation to higher elevation.
Lift Stations / Pump Chambers range from a few gallons to several hundred or thousand gallons capacity, and can be equipped with single or duplex pumps, lift-out rail system, and in case of larger lift stations ladders and grating for internal maintenance.
